Wavy Baby

Zoe & I met up with one of my co-workers & her daughter to attend the Backyardigans Live. The girls had a great time singing & dancing with the characters as they performed on stage. Zoe & I hurried back to town after the show because Zoe was to attend a birthday party for a pre-school friend. Unfortunately the party was canceled, but Zoe enjoyed attending the Fall Festival in town with her dad.

While they were at the festival I took a little nap. On the way home from Backyardigans Live, I started getting a migraine. So, my husband being the nice guy he is (& with a little encouragement!) took Zoe out of the house so I could lay down. My little power nap did the trick - zapped my headache.

My O.G.T. for the day would have to be our swimming pool vacuum. We are getting ready to close our pool in just a few days. Well, I have to admit, that I have neglected keeping up with the day to day maintenance of the pool this last week. So, I decided I better take a look at how bad it was. And, much to my surprise it wasn't bad at all. Only a bunch of leaves were on the bottom. So, I hooked up the vacuum & snap - it's clear as can be. (Good thing that vacuum worked. Otherwise I guess we'd just dealt with the leaves next year when we opened the pool. My husband would NOT have been happy with that.)

Thought I would leave you with a couple of pictures of Zoe. Last week before bedtime she had me braid her hair while it was still wet. The next day she had me take the braids out so she could have wavy hair. She was sooo proud of it.

Dear Heather,

Zoe's hair looks adorable! My girls LOVE when I do that too...they think it looks totally "Rock Star". :) I will forgive you for the Waltons...totally understandable given the circumstances. :) Hey, I'm tagging you! If you check my post today, you will see what that means. TAG! YOU'RE IT, GIRL.

Love,

Lisa
